    Wethington Fam,
We are praying for full restoration. So glad to hear all of GREAT progess. Don't let the swallow test or anything else get you down or discouraged, they are little blocks in the road. Great Decision on Rehab at Fraizer. ..... lots of hard work, but we all know your Dad never turns down a challenge. His competitive little buddy, Trent wants him to try THUMB WARS on the RIGHT. Even if you don't see movement, he is still working and it is important for him to see that hand is still part of him right now. Take it slow, one day at a time and don't let yourselves feel overwhelmed.

Ultimately we have an incredible God who is fully in control. He is definitely at work in this, so easily seen in the closeness that he has brought to your family and community of loving and supportive friends. As much as we hate it when things go differently than we plan, it is the trials in life that force us to slow down and recognize what is truly important. You guys are SHINING-- count it all joy and ENJOY the journey. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. If you want to begin some PHYSICAL TORTURING before Fraizier, Tony and/or I are glad to come show you some things you guys can work on with your DAD.
    Much Love and Prayers,
Your P.T. friends... Tony and Terri Kolter

PS . Carley would love to have Maggie over anytime to play or stay.

  11. Big John,

As an insurance agent, I will be the first to tell you that trampolines suck. So, stay off of them in the future. We are really glad to hear that you are doing so well. Thanks Brooke for coming up with this great idea to keep us all informed. John, you are a strong man and in great shape, so I have no doubt that you will get through this better than anyone. As a guy who has had some minor experiences in the hospital, I can say that rehab is critical. Give it all you got as soon as you can and do more than you can stand - if permissible. They know what they are talking about and it really helps with the long term results. Ok, I have to maintain my reputation for not saying much, so I am out of here for now, but will be keeping up with the blog. Our entire family will be sending constant prayers your way.
