This is awesome news. Maybe you can throw in a little John Cougar music for your dad's rehab. Back when we lived together in Cincinnati, he always loved his Scarecrow and Lonesome Jublilee albums. He, I and White hands went to see him in concert at River Bend. Continued love and prayers from the James family.

You be sure to tell your dad that the crazy woman from Owensboro is praying and cheering him on! He'll know who it is!!! He has a beautiful smile and always had a good story to tell!! Since your probably confused at who I am..I am your Uncle Robbie's sister -n-law. Aunt Judy is my baby sister!! He would be so proud of you for making this blog and keeping all of his family and friends afar updated!! We appreciate your effort and energy for doing this!! I am keeping your mom and whole family in my prayers. And Bobby, Kaye, Mary Beth, Blake, and Rob, I really don't know what to say to each of you, other than he is a very strong and determined man. He will fight for everything and his next move. I feel it will all work out in the end. God is so good! Keep the faith and John will keep fighting!! I'm pulling for you all!! Love, Lee Ann Norris

  8. Hi John!

It was great to see you today! I noticed a sparkle in those gorgeous blue eyes of yours. You are amazing and very strong. Don't worry about anything. Just rest, be tough and go get 'em in rehab. You can do it!

  11. Deanna, Brooke, Blake, and Maggie,

YES! Lovin the positive attitudes and smiling. Especially playing the iPod for John!! Yeah buddy! Like another person posted about J.Mellencamp... Tell John I am singing "Hand to Hold Onto". Before one of our family reunions, John and I giggled about the song "Check it Out" and a few others.
When I picked up John's parents today from the hospital, I was fortunate failed to mention I saw a smile coming on (with that sparkle in his eye)and I knew he was for Frazier & working out! ( GO JOHN GO ).
Brooke you are doing a fabulous job helping out and we SO VERY MUCH appreciate and anticipate the updates!

  14. John,

You are quite the athlete so that will help big-time with your speeding recovery. I know you are athletic as Carrico reunion after Carrico reunion you kicked my tail on just about every activity when we were kids. Later, you did the same on the golf course. Here's to getting better fast 'Cousin'. You are in our toughts and prayers. Great job Brooke!
