Love

My dads journey is all about Love, as any other family sometimes we forget how much we love and appreciate each other. Its important to tell the people you care about everyday how much you do love them and how important they are to your life. This is one of my favorite bible verses & quotes!

I love you so much Dad! You're so amazing!

“Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end.”

  1. It is so impressive to see your family handle this with such grace and strength! Please know that we are praying for you daily, actually several times a day! Keep fighting and keep the strength. Take care of each other and remember you have lots of friends who would love to help. We will whatever is needed! With Love, John, Beth, and the kids.

  4. Brooke,

Your blog is beautiful. It is wonderful to see your Dad's personality shine through in your posts. I have worked with him for the past 15 years and he is truly a good man. Please know that your whole family is in our prayers.

  6. Brooke,
Your Dad and I were in initial sales training at Purdue almost 14 years ago - he was one of my best friends in the class. Oddly 7 years later I was laid off and your Dad rehired me. I was a single parent at the time and will never forget his kindness. I was in Ft Wayne, IN and over 4 hours away....I could never rap my head around the fact that he got up at 4 AM to ride with me so that he wouldn't have to spend too much time away from his family.

In life you only run into a few people that have a heart of gold. Your Dad is one of them and after reading your blogs, so are you. God bless to you, your Mom, brother and sister. We are all praying for him but know in our heart of hearts - he wont let this beat him.
